Terms of service.

In order to run these amazing freediving courses, training, Deep Weeks, and freediving trips, we have high expenses and all the logistical arrangements to run them must be organised months in advance.

Because of this, we need to have some conditions around cancellations, rebooking and postponements.

When you book in and click “I agree to this Terms of Service” this is what you are agreeing to. So please read carefully.

Freediving Courses in Australia

  • In order to book a spot on your freediving course a $150 AUD deposit is needed. This deposit is completely refundable until 4 weeks before your course starting date. After this 4 week period this deposit is non refundable and we require the remaining course fee.

If you’re not able to attend the course that you’ve booked you can reschedule without any fee as long as you give us at least 7 days notice.

If you cancel your course within 7 days of the course commencement date then we can rebook you for a future course for a $175 AUD rebooking fee. We cannot issue any refunds.

To reschedule, send an email to info@freedivingfamily.com please include your name and the date of the course you were booked for. You’ll be able to choose any available course date from the ones on our website. Dates are subject to availability. Our upcoming course dates are listed here https://freedivingfamily.com/upcoming-freediving-courses

  • Sometimes we might need to postpone your freediving course. We will only postpone our courses if the weather conditions are not safe nor recommendable for a Beginner Level.

If a course gets rescheduled or postponed by the Freediving Family, we will offer a number of available dates for you to join us in the future.

If you are not able to make any future dates then you will be entitled to a full refund of your course fee provided that you have not already commenced your course (attended the first day of the course in which we usually do a theory and pool session.)

  • All of our Courses are Molchanovs Freediving Courses. We believe Molchanovs Freediving Education is the best Freediving Education out there and the head of the Freediving Family, Adam Stern is also one of the founders and creators of the Molchanovs Education System.

If the session is from shore, then we require a $40 AUD deposit to hold your spot. This deposit will be refunded after your dive session if you attend to it.

If you fail to attend your session and/or give us at least a 48h notice before the start date/time of the line training session, then we will keep this deposit.
